People stick to their workflows. Online that means you have to support the preferred ways of doing business. And for the social science environment PaperRater.org contributes to there is just no point in building another social net, there are already plenty.

From now on, if you want to tell your peers about a paper that has just appeared on arXiv or point them to an interesting discussion that is going on on the site, you can simply share it on one of your favorite social networks. The buttons you can see here on the right appear to the left of each paper page. So far I’ve enabled Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and LinkedIn. If you want others, leave a comment below.
